With Your Heart Beating and Your Eyes Shining

Internet friends! Thank you so much for all your nice emails! I've gotten so many and I love every single one of them. Especially the one from my long-distance-e-crush who volunteered to be my rebound. MEOW. (You know who you are, Aboriginal Small Fish.)

I am now fully moved into my new place and it is so cute and so little and I have already thrown dirty socks on the floor to mark my territory. The dead roaches under the sink scared me, but The Puppeteer came over to dispose of them and to rearrange my furniture. Last night Schmate came over to express her approval, and even old Trav-Trav and his friend the drunk mover were impressed with my closets and excellent afternoon light. I changed the toilet seat all by myself.

I still haven't slept over, what with the housesitting of a beautiful Carroll Gardens apartment which I am not ready to end, but soon enough my dears. I think this weekend! Wow! New life! It's fucking madness how quickly things change, but it all feels right and good and I am happy.

(ps. I accidentally let Year One slip to the top of my netflix queue, and friends, this might be the NyQuil talking, but it was not unwatchable...)

You might be interested to know that GWWBMGF has called things off. Again. I could use a rebound.

Also, Inklings is my mom. You can't marry her though. She's already spoken for.

FRIEND I actually also enjoyed Year One for what it was. And then I saw you had gotten Land of the Lost, so now I have it at home...though it's been 2 weeks and I haven't watched it. Thoughts?

P.S. I am jealous that Schmate got to see it first.

FRIEND. Send Land of the Lost back immediately. Do not even try to watch it. Seriously.

Why? Because she's married to my dad.

I'd like to visit NY, but am fairly certain the city would eat me alive if I ever tried to live there.

Hope you're settling in to the new place nicely. Can't wait to see more pics once everything is in order! Hugs! TC
